Shri Govindram Conducted Grafitti’16 Seksaria Institute in Indore

Pratibimb, the fine arts and photography club of Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), recently concluded Grafitti'16: Paint Your Imagination, a wide scale, open-themed wall painting event that gave the artists of the institute a canvas to explore and paint their imagination on the campus walls.

The event saw participation from 26 teams of 5-6 members each who painted on the walls of parking area of the campus. This was accompanied by games, delicious food and live music and dance performances that gave the crowd a lot to look forward to. The proceedings boasted of dazzling verve and invigorating atmosphere.The competition saw Team Amigos, that painted a man's wandering thoughts, securing the first position followed by Team Visualizers' painting of a scene from New York city coming in second and Paint Bandits winning the third position for their painting exploring the relationship between humans and animals. The jury for the competition included cartoonist Ismail Darbar and artist Sundar Gurjar.

Graffiti already has a mention in the record books and this year too, the event was planned in an attractive way leading to lasting impression on the campus. Speaking about the same, Saloni Jain, member of Pratibimb, said, "The response received was overwhelming and we succeeded in not just taking the club to a higher level but also in becoming popular among city youngsters. This was our most prominent event for the season and we hope to contribute a lot to the vibrant culture of our college."
