Rajwada Palace is the Heart of Indore. About  Two Centuries ago it was built by Holkar Dynasty so that is reason for it's another popular name "Holkar Palace" also. Now it is listed in historical and most attractive place list in Indore .
Its seven storeyed Indo-Saracenic architectural style makes it unique and beautiful view.
Rajwada  Palace have two structures, the front is located in the center of the city, and other locates toward Khajuri Bazaar that is the famous book market of city.
Many Tourists visiting this palace for see the elements of Mughal, French and Maratha styles in the architecture. 
This beautiful palace  was burnt three times in the history and was finally converted into a garden .It was reconstructed in same its previous style in 2006 ordered by maharani of Indore H.H. Usha Devi Holkar. Efforts have been made to reincarnate the beauty of the palace. 
Today, the palace is used for holding art exhibitions and classical music concerts.
